ROC DAY Demos & Sale this Weekend & TEN CLASSES SCHEDULED FOR January & February!!!

You all absolutely have to come to the shop this weekend so that Sharon and Andrea aren't lonely when they are doing their demos. Sharon will let you get hands on with spindle and zoom loom so it should be lots of fun, and there's a sale - read on to learn more.

And we have scheduled TEN classes for the next 2 months - Intro Knitting and Crocheting and some of the more advanced classes as well, different days of the week, different times of day so check them all out and let everyone you know who might be interested know all about them.

Don't forget to pick up a skein of Madeline Tosh Twist Light sock yarn in Colorway Care. This was a special limited edition to raise money for Doctors Without Borders. They stopped dyeing this colorway at the end of 2014, so what you see is all there is.

ROC DAY Weekend Workshops & MiniSale
Since Andrea is back helping us through our close down, and since both she and Sharon love to spin, we are going to do some spinner's specials this weekend in celebration of ROC Day. And what is ROC day, you ask? Here's the Wikipedia answer!

On Saturday, Sharon will be in the shop from 1 to 3 pm, demonstrating (and teaching if you want to try it) spinning by hand. She has also promised to bring her Zoom Loom in and demonstrate that as well. We do have a few left for sale. They are lots of fun.

On Sunday, Andrea will join Jessica in the shop from 1 to 3, spinning on her portable wheel and would love love love to see everyone again, and get caught up with her old friends. Spinners of course, but everyone is welcome to drop by. The shop will be open regular hours, from 1 to 4.

And in case you needed an extra excuse to come in to the shop, we will have a little bonus sale for you on Saturday and Sunday.

25% OFF
ALL SPINNING/Fiber STUFF!
That means fiber, spinning & felting books & magazines, spindles & ALL the NEEDLEFELTING SUPPLIES!!!

Crazy Busy January & February Class Schedule
Sharon has gone wild scheduling!

Click on the class name to get all the details - dates, times, fees, descriptions...

Originally we had scheduled to start our new classes today, but I've been out of communications range so I couldn't get a newsletter out, so we didn't get them announced. But here we are now!

So, DATE CHANGECrochet Essentials 101 (Intro Crochet) is bumped from  7,14 &21 January to14, 21 & 28 January. The flyer has the original dates on it, but the ones in the shop have been corrected.

The next class starting up is on Sunday, 11 January:  Crochet Essentials 103, Granny Squares.

Knitting Essentials 101 (Intro Knitting) will begin on Monday, 12 January and Crochet Essentials 102 will begin on Saturday 17 January.

In addition, Sharon will be hosting her Tuesday afternoon Crochet-alongfor the rest of January and February.

February will start up with Knitting Essentials 102 on the 2nd, another session of Crochet Essentials 102 on the 4th and a repeat ofKnitting Essentials 101 on Thursday 5 February.

Knitting Essentials 103 (Your first simple shawl) will begin on Saturday 7 February and a repeat of  Crochet Essentials 101will begin on Sunday 8 February.

Please note that the Sunday, Monday and Wednesday classes in February are being held on days when the shop is scheduled to be closed. Please make sure to pre-register for these in advance, since there won't be anyone in the shop on the day of class until Sharon arrives shortly before the scheduled class time. Yes, you will be able to pay, and purchase yarn, notions, needles and supplies on those days, but letting Sharon know in advance that you will need to do that will allow her to plan to come in early. And will make sure the class actually happens.

Gift Certificates!
Did you receive a Yarn Expressions Gift Certificate for Christmas? Come in and use it now. We will be here through the end of February, but your choices will get smaller, the longer you wait.
Madeline Tosh Twist Lite Fundraiser Yarn for Doctors without Borders!
We have a few skeins of Madeline Tosh's limited colorway CARE in the Twist Lite sock yarn back in stock; this colorway was created to raise funds for Doctors without borders and is no longer being made. If you missed it when we had our first batch, come in and grab some before it's all gone.
