Crocheted Summer Top: Mondays, May 26th & June 9th; 530-730pm; $45.

And we are working on the next round of classes, so keep watching. If you have anything particular you'd like to see in a knitting or crochet class, please email and let me know and I'll pass your ideas on to Kirsten and Sharon.

I can tell you that we are planning on some weaving classes (tri-loom and rigid heddle) in the fall; and another needle felting class in the same time frame - we're changing to a different style of kit, so those of you who've taken our felted sheep class might like this new one.

We're in the Classic Elite KAL!
We've had enough folks sign up so we qualified to be eligible for the Gift Basket. If you meant to sign up and haven't,  you have one more week to sign up, and be eligible for the prize. Once we've qualified, we have a little flexibility.

Basic Rules:

1. You can then choose a project from any of CEY recent books in stock: Portraits, Oceanside, Sunny Day, Homestead and Silhouettes. You can preview the books here! There are patterns for both knitters and crocheters in the books.

Our stock of some of the books is running low; if we sell out, we can get more, and in fact have more of Homestead already on order.

2. Your project must use at least 3 skeins of any current Classic Elite Yarn.

3. To be eligible for the prize in our shop, you must purchase your yarn and your book from us.

4. Remember, we have to have your finished project photographed by July 25th, so I can get it turned in by the deadline.

5. You can knit or crochet in the shop, or you can knit or crochet at home or wherever. If you would like to organize a group to meet in the shop, we will make room for you. If you want to meet in the morning during the week before the shop opens, email and let me know. If we have a group of 5 or more, we will open early for you.

Any questions, ask the shop staff or email me at yarnexpressions@juno.com.

(Note: the Homestead book includes patterns featuring a yarn called Meadowlark that CEY was unable to manufacture. A sheet of suggested substitutions is stapled inside the front cover of the book.)
