New Yarns & Patterns in the Shop!
Two new trunk shows from Classic Elite are due in the shop this weekend - I think the featured yarns are Chalet and Liberty Wool but the shows have been delayed (coming out of shops on the East Coast) by the weather.
Have you checked out the felted Slouch Hat knitted up from Plymouth SIn City or Muench Touch Me Lux (the 2 yarns are virtually identical, but come in different colors) that we currently have in the shop? It is absolutely the softest hand-knitted fabric I have ever felt. And the hat is a seriously quick and easy project. I am one of the slowest knitters out there and this hat took me no time at all. The yarn is super soft and fun to knit - it's a rayon chenille on a wool core. After you knit it, you wash it in super hot water and run it through a hot dryer to felt it - the wool core shrinks and turns the chenille into this wonderful soft drapey velvety fabric. There are over a thousand completed projects on Ravelry for the Touch Me and folks are knitting multiples because it feels so good.
Plymouth Holiday Lights (Encore with Glitter) is back in stock and Diane is knitting us up a sample in the form of a tree skirt for the holidays. And there are free tree skirt and Christmas ornament patterns on Ravelry - if you start knitting ornaments now, you will have enough to use instead of bows on all of your holiday gift packages.
Tango BiColor Mesh 25% Off!
We still have a pile of colors of this quick to knit or crochet mesh yarn, so we marked it down to clear it out. It's a skinnier mesh and a shorter length, so it's great for our younger fashionistas, or if you want to wear several scarves together. We are unable to get more of this specific yarn, so if you've been thinking about it, grab it before it's gone.
